Shadow of His Wings Ministry
In the heart of Kenya, where nearly 8 million widows and over 3 million orphans face daily challenges, Shadow of His Wings Ministry stands as a beacon of hope and God's faithful provision. This Christ-centered ministry answers James 1:27's sacred call to care for widows and orphans, transforming lives through both spiritual nourishment and practical support. Spiritual Foundation Weekly Bible studies and women's events nurture deep spiritual growth, providing both Kenyan and American women with the living water of God's Word. This foundation of biblical truth creates lasting hope and transformation. Skills for Life A 12-month trade school empowers widows and orphans through sewing education, business training, and spiritual discipleship. Graduates receive not just skills, but the tools needed for sustainable independence – including their own sewing machine, supplies, and Bible study materials. Education with Purpose Shadow of His Wings Academy provides vulnerable children with more than just education. From early childhood through age 12, students receive daily meals, clothing, and biblical teaching. Our ministry has even established vital water wells in areas previously without access to clean drinking water. Homes of Hope Through the House of Refuge Project, widows connect with orphaned children, creating new families filled with love and security. This initiative ensures every child experiences the blessing of belonging within a nurturing home. Through sponsorship, children receive the care and support they need to thrive.
